My Garden
Angela's words, a few years ago:
I took up painting again about seven years ago. I’m entranced by colours and shapes and lean towards magical realism; subjects which are not exactly what they seem at first glance.  I like to work in oils because they are so flexible: they allow me to change my mind, work quickly or very carefully, with a brush or a palette knife.

I have spent a lot of hours working on life studies and enjoy the infinite challenge they present, but then all painting is a challenge: the engagement captivating.

Sometimes a painter’s efforts work and the result might be a life enhancing image to put on the wall ... and sometimes not!
