Very fair weather today, as befits the name of the venue. And a fair number of members, and a would be member, came to the Angel Cafe in the morning before dispersing to sketch and paint. Quite a few of that number went home early ( including me - H), but a productive morning was had, and there are some interesting sketches included in this blog. Two views of the gathering, as we were at different tables. I hope I got everyone in!
Here is the work Frances did - charming views of some of the perimeter buildings, including the cottagee on the end which has just had its magnificent chimneys renovated.

| Finally, I drew the pub and related buildings on my iPad. A good choice because rubbing out can be very complete, and doesn't damage the substrate. I rubbed out a lot trying to get the proportions right - still not correct, but the best I could do. Sally L will be your blogger next week, so send any work to her.
