Seventeen members at the bowls club this morning in the bright spring sunshine.
Ian was our model, ably assisted by his puppy Marlow, who very quickly got bored with the whole thing and retired to bed!

first a breath of spring from Carolyn, the lilac in her garden has just come into flower, I can almost smell it!

Sally P tackled the monster cactus, first in black and white and then in colour.
Barry drew the vase of flowers using Neocolour, and Ian C painted a colour study in oils.
josie worked on two completely contrasting hares, I wasn’t quick enough to catch the first picture, but the second ( left) a delicate study, - a new direction Josie? The hare (right) is drawn from a model on the still life table by Harriet.
