Hannah and Jackie chose the churchyard. First is Hannah’s sketch of the pretty churchyard.
Sally and I stayed inside the church. Sally drew the very challenging intricate design bordering the screen, and an attractive small doorway, and finally when the sun came out the old boarded up pub opposite.
I liked the way that the porch entrance framed the view into the churchyard, but got completely bogged down as usual in the architectural details.watercolour and inktense colour pencils.
From Carolyn this week we have an appropriately seasonal subject, a basket of apples.
and Diana has been googling again and sent us this collage of Pulham Market, and her pastel impressions of watching cycle races, the Tour de France and La Vuelta, fast, furious and colourful.
Frances is in Brittany, a sketch of her favourite spot, and “ fiddling with sketches of shells in charcoal, ink and watercolour” - good subject for a workshop? …
and Lesley is also on holiday and has sent in this lovely landscape painting.
