As an artist, Tamsin is inspired by Suffolk landscapes and her paintings include both the rich texture of wild flowers and grasses, as well as some very interesting skies. Below are two examples from her webpage, where more of her work can be found at tamsinlittleart.com
She works with a limited palette using the following colours:
Paynes Grey, Cadium Yellow (medium hue), Dioxazine Purple, Golden Ochre, Titanium White.
She also adds one other colour, for example indigo blue.
First we mixed the colours, see Tamsin's examples below, the first using Paynes Grey and the second using Indigo instead. We all had a go at mixing these colours, Frances went 'off piste' with hers, and produced a lovely abstract image, see below as well
