ENTRY AND FORMS

All our exhibitions are open to all members to participate.  We do not accept entries from non-members.  Below you will find entry forms and any additional information for the exhibitions we are currently planning.

exhibition at eye town hall for eye open gardens 6 - 7 JUNE 2026

ENTRY CONDITIONS
  1. You can enter ONE framed picture on any THEME, size A4, with a black frame obtainable from EAG. The Entry fee is £2 .The entry fee includes the option to enter a maximum of 4 unframed pictures. These should be mounted, in a clear plastic sleeve and can be any size as long as they will fit in a browser. Enclose the fee in cash, with a hard copy of  your entry form below in a sealed envelope with your name and the date of this exhibition clearly labelled.
  2. All work exhibited should be for sale and must be clearly labelled on the back left hand corner with TITLE, ARTIST, MEDIUM and PRICE. ‘D’ rings should be fixed at the back on both sides of framed paintings and canvases, about a third of the way down from the top and wired or strung.
  3. All work to be brought to the TOWN HALL on Saturday 6th June between 9.15 - 9.30am.
  4. Pictures must be collected at the end of the exhibition on Sunday 7th June.
  5. It is a condition of exhibiting that you agree to steward unless there are exceptional circumstances. There will be two stewards on duty between 9.45am and 5.00pm each day, split into morning and afternoon shifts. Please indicate in the table below when you are available, offering at least 2 sessions. Hopefully you will not be needed for both. The rota will be sent by email after all the entries are received.

exhibition at the bank, EYE 3 - 28 JUNE 2026

  1. All work exhibited must be clearly labelled on the back left hand corner with TITLE, ARTIST, MEDIUM and PRICE. If not for sale, this should be indicated clearly. D’ rings should be fixed at the back on both sides of framed paintings and canvases, about a third of the way down from the top and wired or strung, taut so it doesn’t show when the picture is hung.
  2. There is an entry fee of £1 per picture. You may also enter a maximum of 4 unframed pictures for 50p each. These should be mounted, in a clear plastic sleeve. Enclose your entry fee and entry form in a sealed envelope clearly labelled with your name and date of this exhibitioIf you submit 4 pictures, not all may be hung, in which case you will be refunded 
  3. The Bank Arts Centre charges 25% commission on sales, so price your work to reflect this!
  4. All work to be brought to the BANK between 10.30-11.00am Monday  1ST June, for the Bank to check in prior to hanging.
  5. Pictures should be collected from the Bank at 10.30 -11.00 on Monday 29th June.
  6. We should not need to steward Wednesday - Friday but will at weekends. It is a condition of exhibiting that you agree to steward unless there are exceptional circumstances, or you are exhibiting for SOS in your own studio. There will be two stewards on duty between 10.30 and 5.00pm on Saturday and Sunday, split into two shifts. Please indicate in the table below when you are available. You should offer at least 2 sessions but should not be needed for both. Stewards should be prepared to engage with visitors and possibly be painting/drawing. The rota will be sent by email after all the entries are received.
  7. The Bank Arts Centre will be producing labels and compiling the catalogue using the information on the entry form, so ensure you complete each section. In the catalogue there will be a short paragraph ‘about the artist.’ Please fill in the artist statement below the entry form. This should be no longer than 100 words and include what inspires your art, media used and maybe a short biography. You can use your entry in the Gallery section of the EAG website to help with this if necessary.
  8. The deadline for entries is the last day of the winter programme, Thursday 9th April.Please return a copy of this form and your entrance fee in cash, in a sealed envelope with your name and the exhibition name to one of the Exhibitions group: Sally Ladbroke, Angela Hall, Frances Beasley or Lesley Buckwell by 9th April 2026. 
  9. Don’t forget to keep a copy for your records. All pictures are hung at your own risk.
  10. Check the EAG website for any updates nearer to the exhibition time.
