NOTES ABOUT 20TH JULY
- Hoxne is a pretty village with lots of old cottages, the green and several bridges over waterways. Cross Street has an old well, a mixture of buildings and landscape views.
- Hoxne Church: includes good landscape views, church interior - cubicle toilet in grounds and car park at rear.
- Low Street including quaint private garden - a really old cottage, flint wall at rear.
- The Swan public house [has toilets] and good views of river and bridge from the garden.
- Cross Street: Abbey Farm - architectural features on old Tudor building with large interesting and varied garden, (please park on road nearby)
- Jackie's cottage and garden [toilet for your use - entrance at rear of cottage]. Tea here at 3.15
- Also, Denham church is a pretty little chapel with small graveyard and good landscape views around - just an Irish mile away.
- Parking - on nearby street or at village hall, NOT at the pub please
- I can send a map showing venues to anyone who requests it.
