eye arts guild winter programme 2015-2016
Message from Sally Tyley: Please could you make sure that you bring some protective covering to be used on the floor and the tables during our sessions at the bowls club. Plastic sheeting would be ideal if you have it. Accidents can happen and it is best to be prepared.

Eye Arts Guild Winter Programme
Notes about China de Burnay's workshop, 14 April
China de Burnay - workshop 10 till 3 - bring lunch with you. Cost: £10. China is leading a workshop day which will include the following:
A talk about the different effects you can expect to achieve from watercolour, acrylics and water-based oils. She will bring paints but would be grateful if you can bring a tube of white paint for mixing.
China is experienced in working with all these mediums and will be there to help you experiment or offer new ideas on how to develop your techniques and composition.
Specifically, China will be talking about how the different media can be used to a variety of effects when painting flowers.
If the weather is good enough China will also take us outside to consider painting en plein air, which is of course what we will be doing very soon now when our summer programme commences. Even if the weather does not permit, she will talk about ways of tackling different scenes outside.
So hopefully it will be a day full of interest and new ideas we can all benefit from.
2015-16 Addtional Notes
Sessions run from 10-12.30 at Eye Bowls Club.
Please do not arrive before 9.50 to allow the person setting up time and space to prepare.
The cost per session is £3.00.
In the event of bad weather - ice, snow, floods - the session will be cancelled.
If your name is on the list - thank you in advance; it depends on us all to keep the Guild running!
However, if you are unexpectedly unable to run your session please contact another EAG member to swap.
Jackie has the membership list, telephone 01379 668220.
More information on workshop sessions will be circulated nearer the time.
If you are running a model and still life session and and are unable to pose yourself, or think of an alternative please speak to one of the Committee.
For your information: currently the EAG Chairman is Sally Tyley, Treasurer Sally Procner, Secretary Maggie-Anne Reardon.
