Winter Programme and Coronavirus Rules
Dear Members,
The committee met this week to make plans for the Winter Programme in the light of current
Coronavirus health and safety guidance,. The health and safety of all members is top priority
and the following rules are to keep you safe. It will be down to each individual’s own
discretion as to whether they wish to attend but please be assured that your membership will
continue should you not feel able to join us at the moment. We will keep you updated.
The Winter programme will commence with the AGM and Chair’s Project on October 1st at
10am. It will run to 10th December, recommence on 7th January and finish on 29th April.
EAG Coronavirus Rules
• Entry and Exit: Enter through usual door, Exit through side Emergency Exit doors
• Social Distancing- 10 large tables in rows, 2 per table + 2 small tables of 1 person
each. Keep 2m apart as much as possible. Attend toilet and wash room individually.
• Cleaning and sanitisation- the committee will disinfect all surfaces prior to and
after each session (please do not arrive until 10am to permit this) Hand gel will be
available and members are encouraged to bring their own. Windows and doors will
be open for ventilation when possible.
• Weekly subs: Bring correct amount (£3) and place in locked cash box.
• Track and Trace: Complete register in folder which will also contain members’
phone contact numbers. Ian Cotgrove will retain this information and is the
designated contact person should anyone be tested positive. (Sally P will be his back
up / a clearly designated committee member)
• Refreshments: Bring your own refreshments. the kitchen will not be accessible and
refreshments will not be provided.
• Equipment: Bring your own work / still life. There will be no Workshops this year
( other options are under consideration) Take brushes etc home for cleaning.
• Face masks: face masks are optional and at your own discretion.
• Please do not attend sessions if you are feeling unwell.
The committee will continue to closely monitor the situation and respond in
accordance with government guidelines.
