The forecast was gloomy, but fortunately the day turned out much better, though once the clouds broke somewhat we had to contend with very changeable light and colour. There are lots of potential spots to draw and paint, and a very varied bird population to delight the eye. For some of us it took some time to find the right place, but that just meant more time to walk and enjoy the different vistas. The quantity and variety of birds was great, and we are told they host huge murmurations of starlings, which would be worth the trip to see. (Click HERE to see) June told us that tomorrow, June 15th, is Noreen's birthday, so when we came together for tea and cake we all wanted to wish her a very happy day, and hope she is enjoying her holiday, and that the weather has not been too bad.
