The workshop was a wonderful thing to do on such a wet grey day. Sue was very knowledgeable and organised giving us plenty of information on photocopied sheets She bought some very colourful flowers, fresh and artificial to give us inspiration Sue also displayed some of her work Sue started the demonstration showing how the different colours reacted with each other Everyone started work and Sue came around and gave everybody instruction on the way we coukd improve or work After lunch there was another demonstration showing how to paint white flowers At the end of the session we all gathered around and discussed every painting Here is Carolyn's work for the blog this week, with her comment, 'I have had a very quick WC go at our lovely snowdrops, which seem to thrive here.' Here is Frances' Scraperboard completed this week. Based on a sketch of tree and surroundings at Redgrave Fen.
