We were reminded at the beginning how distracting it can be when there is too much chat, and everyone heeded Sally T's request. I have tried to include a panorama of the silent concentration, but I did something wrong in the execution, so it is somewhat askew, and I give my apologies to anyone who is missing ( I now know what I did wrong; too late this time!, and not Noreen's mistake as this is Hannah, sorry).
Ian gave us a medley of diverse subjects today. The ingredients for a cake, along with the recipe; the paraphernalia of an artist's studio; and, I imagine in a nod to current British success in tennis, himself complete in whites, with racquet and balls, ready for a game. These proved a good challenge and kept us all busy.

Congratulations Hannah! I don't know which I admire most, your beautiful interpretation of the jar of apricots or your masterly handling of this week's blog. Many thanks!
