A sunny, windy day for our first day of the summer programme. Gaze's is a good place to start as there is so much there to exercise us: garden furniture, statues and ornaments, tools of all kinds, bicycles, tricycles, and some items so mysterious it was hard to imagine what they were for. And the café is so handy for a continuous supply of refreshments. About 12 members attended and some of their work is shown below - though one or two managed to escape before photos were taken (no names, Les!) Click on images to enlarge them. |
I think we should thank all those who have worked so hard to produce the excellent winter programme just completed, and now the summer one. The summer one especially requires a lot of work checking out venues, obtaining permissions and making arrangements. So THANK YOU! Don't forget, next week is at Thelnetham Mill. |
