Diana's still life with pots and tulips was a very popular choice this week, with the lovely blues and bright pink-to-orange colours and interesting shapes. The other still life appealed to some, nevertheless. It was good to have Claire's daughter Sarah back as our model after last week's workshop. Her young, pale skin was a good challenge.
Sally Tyley reminded us that it is the Chairman's Project next Thursday and urged us to bring all our work to show, even work unfinished. I think most of us are keen to see what ideas members have come up with for "The Order of Things".
The following week, the last meeting of our winter programme, Tom will be talking to us on the subject of "Perspective", then it is the Cambridge trip before we begin our summer programme out of doors. Details of this will be available very soon - watch for emails or Stop Press on this website.
