The still life set-ups seem to be proving increasingly popular. Perhaps this is because our presenters are getting more selective in their choice of objects, but also because people are now closer to the objects yet still have good room to work. It is so interesting to see what other people do. Ideas can be picked up and shared. One piece was painted on crumpled brown paper, to be applied to textile as a basis for an embroidered work. Sally also sat as our model, giving us one pose before the coffee break and another one after. How still she remained throughout her poses! Click on images to enlarge them. |
