So we started in the café enjoying our morning coffees, admiring the paintings - and viewing the wet scene outside through the windows. Goats arrived (or were they sheep?), then deer, a feisty swan … Les has the bruises for evidence … and distant cattle. As the rain eased, the more dedicated members (10) defied the weather and the wet benches to get some useful sketching done, which you can see below.
This Wildlife Centre is a great place to visit, especially for artists and we were delighted that it faired up in the afternoon.
