In the near 40-year history of the Eye Arts Guild, I believe that the cancellation of a Thursday meeting has been very rare - I can only remember one previous occasion, due to bad weather. Now a tiny virus has mutated in China, hitched a ride on human beings across the globe and in a few short weeks shown how we are all connected. And not in a good way! However, on the positive side, perhaps it will provide us with some space to pursue activities we often don’t have enough time for, especially drawing and painting.

| PS A late addition from Lesley, who was tied up on Thursday and says: "This is a quick 10 minute pencil sketch drawn through the windscreen, when I was waiting for Dick at the end of the day. Serried ranks of yachts in their cradles, some with their tenders tucked underneath." I am still hoping for one more picture, from Sally T (technical problems!) |  |
