| Hannah transported us to the seaside with her 'swimming' fish* and beautiful seashells. With imagination, some members have actually portrayed the sea, or given an impression of it - well done! For those more attuned to the countryside, cardoons and the like from her garden were presented in the other still life. As the model, Hannah was excellent and gave us two long poses - I say 'long' but they are never long enough. (I wonder where she was transported to with her tablet constantly in her hand?) At break time, Sally P handed us our 'homework' - a patch each to paint for the composite picture which is revealed at our Christmas party. And Les reminded us of our obligations to the panto, which will no doubt be his customary rib-tickling masterpiece. * ... although I definitely saw one fish on wheels - is this the ever-increasing sea polution? | Click to enlarge the images |
