Your editor is a bit late with the blog this week, having been away, but has been helped out by photos and reports from Sally P and Lesley. Sally said: Sixteen of us turned up throughout the day, most for the art and a few (they know who they are …. !) for a cuppa. People arrived in dribs and drabs, having to divert due to roadworks. Once refreshed, they bravely ventured out into the gardens, fighting strong and blustery winds. An early lunch was followed by one or two brave souls going out again, but most sitting in the exhibition room to work. Tea at three saw two rather unusual and interesting visitors looking at our exhibition. They didn’t buy … but we think they might want to join the EAG. Lesley sent photos, with captions below. Finally, here are a few more photos from Lesley of our preview party on 29th July. | |
