 | Ian is evidently an outdoors sort of person, judging by his choice of items for his still life set-up and his persona in the modelling seat. He has a face full of character and strength, which showed through in many of the portraits. He was good at holding his pose, during the two sittings, always helpful to the artists!   | Footwear was popular with the still life group; we had a large choice of items (see photos below) - many of which did not however see light of day in artistic representation!

| Good to see Tom was able to join us this morning. He doesn't always manage it or stay to the end to show his beautiful drawings, but I caught him before he left - see bottom right drawing above. And here is another drawing of his from a previous meeting. |  |
We look forward to our Christmas party next week, which starts at our usual time of 10am but goes on later to include the buffet. We are reminded to bring any of the patch paintings not already handed in - we definitely don't like to finish with a hole in the picture.
