A small, but select, group of us (5) made our way to this Suffolk Wildlife Trust reserve and found it a delightful place to observe birds, watch some sailing, admire the natural world ..... and also sketch. A little fresh in the shade but lots of sunshine and beautiful skies. From the windows of the café in the Visitors Centre, we saw a Kingfisher return a few times to his perch over the little lake, and hosts of little birds at the feeders. Upstairs you could get a more panoramic view of the reserve. A very enjoyable day, we all agreed. Below is some of our work. Don't forget, next week at Lesley's parking space is limited so please meet up at the Cross Street car park between 10 & 10.15 to share cars. Click on images to enlarge them. |
