| Did I detect a buzz in the Bowls Club this morning? And that was before our bee-keeper put on his bee-keeping white suit, complete with head guard. Or perhaps it was the thought of Les coming to brief us on our roles in next-week's panto - which he describes as a "Cartoon Presentation of the Nativity". Avril's husband, as the bee-keeper, gave us three ten-minute poses, half an hour, then after the coffee break one continuous pose (in mufti). Click images to enlarge them.

Meanwhile, the still-lifers were beavering quietly away with Avril's Christmas themed set-ups. We had some interesting work to view at the end of the session. The arrangement of the tables for still life has been carefully masterminded by Sally P to ensure maximum comfortable seating, with sufficient 'walk-round' space. To ensure we all know what we are doing, we shall be showing a plan shortly on the web-site. Meanwhile, see photos below. |
