Jane, who we can normally expect to produce striking but delicate portraits, was on the other side of the process this morning and posed as our model. She gave us two poses and also brought the objects for the two still life arrangements. One was glass-themed with colourful fruit and scarves, while the other was mainly silverware alongside decorative china. I find it hard enough to portray what I see, but it is inspiring to see how some others manage to get really creative with it. By the way, Carolyn and her hearing aid have been reunited. It was in the back of her car. She is most relieved and thanks everyone for showing so much concern in the hunt for it. PS Late news: next week's workshop has had to be cancelled. Lesley's message gives all the information about a replaced all-day session for ALL MEMBERS. |
