Dire weather warnings this morning, but apart from being very cold with ground frost in places, all was well and we had a good crowd at EAG. Hopefully, all will be well next week too, for our Christmas party, but if not, look out for a possible message about cancellation on the website. While mentioning the party, note that members are asked to arrive at 10.15 instead of 10am, to allow the Committee time to set everything up.

She also posed herself as the model, which seemed to be a very popular choice, judging by the number jostling for places to sit.

| Frances came in first with her work. She is still in Brittany and says, "Bonjour!". She adds: "First is a quick sketch done in chilly conditions standing on the beach with a lovely sea near Trinité sur Mer. Second is acrylic and some ink, playing with a grid system and autumn oak leaves. Will probably cut it up for cards!!! " |   |

Following that is Harriet's contribution, one that she did from today's still life, and the other picture is an image that she's been working on this week, depicting a landscape in Wales, which is not quite finished.
Our most consistent contributor, Carolyn, has nothing for us today. She says, 'I am afraid there is nothing for the blog this week. We have had a rather frustrating time with computers and printers.'
No sketch from me either - I didn't really get anywhere with mine. I hope to see lots of you at the Christmas party, but please don't forget to check the website on Wednesday evening in case the weather is really bad. Meanwhile, do read the Stop Press page. And it is Hannah's turn to do the blog.
